Market entry
For companies from Austria, Germany and Switzerland expanding into Ukraine or entering markets with Russian-speaking target groups, such as Moldova or Kazakhstan. With communication in Ukrainian and Russian from our own team.
The market
The reconstruction of Ukraine is one of Europe’s largest economic tasks. Taking part takes more than a good product: trust, the right language and a presence that is understood locally.
According to the fifth joint Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment (RDNA5) by the Government of Ukraine, the World Bank, the European Commission and the United Nations, recovery and reconstruction needs over the next ten years amount to almost USD 588 billion. Companies in construction, energy, transport, industry, agriculture, healthcare and technology are needed, as are service providers that support these projects.
We help companies from the German-speaking region appear visible and credible in Ukraine and in Russian-speaking markets: with market strategy, localised communication, trade fairs and networks, and support in using funding programmes. Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova have been negotiating accession to the European Union since June 2024, which opens additional prospects for long-term partnerships.

In Ukraine, Ukrainian is the official language and usually the right choice for business communication. Russian reaches target groups in Moldova and Kazakhstan, for example. We communicate in both languages from our own team.
In uncertain times, reliability, transparency and long-term commitment count. Communication that shows this credibly is a competitive advantage.
Reconstruction is taking place under wartime conditions. We take the security situation and protection instruments such as investment guarantees into account in planning and communication.
Comprehensive EU and Swiss sanctions apply to Russia and Belarus. We clarify with you in advance whether a project may be affected; the legal review in the individual case is a matter for your legal advisers and the competent authorities.
The notes on professional rules are guidance for our communication work and do not replace legal advice in an individual case. As of October 2026.
For legal questions, we are happy to put you in touch with Isak Legal. The Zurich-based firm advises companies on cross-border legal and regulatory matters relating to Switzerland, the EU, the United Kingdom and the USA, and on market entry, investment and export projects in Ukraine.
